About Me

I'm a Niqabi woman from Egypt. I have been wearing Niqab for 10 years and Hijab since I was 12 y/o. I chose to wear Hijab because I believed in it, no one forced me to wear it. After wearing Niqab I faced many difficulties with my mom, but I overcame them and insisted on wearing it. She now advocates it :).  View My Profile        ADD ME :)
About Hijab:
The word Hijab came from the verb 'hajaba' that means covers. So Hijab is the veil to cover hair or face too. But we usually call face veil as Niqab to differentiate between it and the hair cover. By saying 'I Love My Hijab', I mean hair and face veils.
I made this site after Hijab was attacked many times in the west.
Hijab was always represented in the west as a manifestation of oppression on Muslim women.
I made this site to show our love of Hijab to the whole world. We have the responsibility to tell them about its reality.. It is a means of protection and respect to us not oppression!
